Extension Coordinator Internship

This is a 12 month internship, with the possibility of evolving into a permanent role.
We need an inventive and outgoing Extension Coordinator with a keen interest in sustainable agriculture to work with us to develop an extraordinary, cutting-edge program of workshops, field days, farm tours and so much more.
As the Extension Coordinator, you will build our extension program from the ground up, by developing ideas for events and working with our staff to bring them to life. You will write articles for our newsletters and magazines, and develop content for our online platforms. Working with our manager and board of directors, you will develop and carry out a strategic plan for our extension program.
The job will be fast-paced and diverse, and offers extensive opportunities for on the job education and networking. Your challenge will be to balance the needs of all stakeholders involved, and ensure that the extension program content remains both leading edge and relevant to our local producers.

Wage is $24/hour, for an average of 40 hours per week.
